It is very durable and can be beat to death. He has improved greatly on his hand eye coordination. We bought this for him when he was 15 months old and he has been playing with it ever since. It is easily stored too. Both my son and daughter can't get enough. And since the ball is stationary and the stand is height adjustable, children can actually hit the ball, thus building their self-esteem and confidence. Such a modest price for loads of fun. And educational? I think so. The rate in child obesity is higher than it's ever been (thanks to all those video and computer games). I thought he was too young for this toy. Within a week, my son learned how to hold AND swing the bat properly. I was amazed! Soon thereafter he began making direct contact with the ball. Now he can hit the ball cleanly and his hand-eye coordination is much better. It was impressive to see how quickly he developed the necessary skills to hit the ball. This toy is easy to store and you can use regular wiffle balls as replacements. Note that you need to make sure your child is not using the bat to hit anything or anyone else nearby. What a great toy! |
